FAQs

Where do I park?

Public parking lots (2 blocks north) and a parking garage (2 blocks southwest) are within walking distance. The downtown square also has ample street parking.

Is food available at Texas Theater?

The Texas Theater is showcased on the historic square in downtown Waxahachie and within walking distance of several area restaurants. The Texas Theater offers small bites and snacks, so patrons are encouraged to visit a downtown restaurant prior.

Are alcoholic beverages available at Texas Theater?

A full bar and signature drinks are available for purchase at The Texas Theater.

Do I need a Prekindle account to purchase tickets?

No, you do not need to create an account to purchase tickets through Prekindle. However, you do need to create an account if you want to resend your own receipt or edit the will call names for your purchase.

When will I receive my tickets?

Depending on the delivery options for your ticket, you may receive your ticket as an attachment in your emailed receipt, by USPS standard mail, or you may check in at will call at the event.

Print-at-Home Option

When you receive your emailed receipt, if print-at-home tickets are available for the event, your ticket will be attached in a PDF.  There is also a link within your receipt to download your ticket.

Standard Mail Option

If you paid extra to have your tickets sent to you, you will see an item on your receipt labeled “Tickets by Standard Mail.” Tickets are shipped out within 3 business days of your purchase, and are shipped in a plain white envelope with a plastic window for the shipping address to show through.

Will Call

If you are checking in at will call for the event, you will need to have a valid photo ID and the confirmation code from your receipt.  Check the event information to see if the organizer will require anything additional to check in at will call.

How do I download my tickets?

You may download your ticket from the confirmation screen during your purchase, or from your emailed receipt. When you have successfully completed a purchase on Prekindle, you will see a confirmation screen with a confirmation number. Right below that confirmation number is a DOWNLOAD button. Click this button to download a PDF of your ticket. If you purchased more the one ticket, this file will have one page for each of your tickets.

My printed ticket never arrived in the mail. Will I be able to get into the event?

Orders for mailed tickets are sent within three days of the purchase. If you have not received your mailed ticket within a reasonable time, please contact our support team to explore other options. (https://www.prekindle.com/support) In many cases, you can check in at will call with a photo ID.

Please keep in mind that once physical tickets are mailed, they cannot be replaced, so keep them safe until the event.

How can I tell if my ticket is available at will call, or if it has been mailed to me?

Check your emailed receipt; if there is a line item for “Tickets By Standard Mail,” then your tickets are mailed to the shipping address that was entered during the purchase within three days of the completed purchase.

If you opted to print your tickets at home, you will see a box indicating that your tickets are attached to the emailed receipt, or they can be downloaded by clicking the DOWNLOAD button.

If you do not have an attached ticket, or the option to download your ticket, then electronic tickets were not offered for the event, and you will be able to check in at will call with a valid photo ID and the confirmation code from your receipt.

Can I show my ticket on my phone or do I need to print it out?

For fastest entry, it is best to have your tickets printed.

Do I need to change the name on my ticket if I am going to give it away?

If your ticket is already printed out, you may give it to the person that will use it for admission and they will be able to get into the event with no problem.

However, if your guest is going to pick up the ticket at will call, they will be asked to show an ID that matches the name on the ticket, so the will call name will need to be updated.

You can update the will-call information yourself here by following the instructions here: How do I change the will call name on tickets?

I am unable to use my ticket. Can I get a refund?

If an event is canceled, you are entitled to a refund.  However, if an event does occur, tickets are non-refundable.  You can view Prekindle’s refund policy here: (https://prekindle.com/refundpolicy).

Many tickets are transferable. If you are unable to use your ticket, you can give them to a friend.
